Hello! I'm Sarah Rose, and I'm so glad you're here. I'm the creative heart behind Faded Era Floral, which I started in 2020, offering full-service wedding florals, elopement packages, and custom designs for life's most meaningful celebrations across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

I take my cues from the seasons, leaning into organic, lush, and textural blooms that feel true to the world they came from — with sustainability and the natural landscape as my guide, putting local flowers first and leaning on eco-conscious design wherever I can. With several years of experience in the floral industry — designing in flower shops, working on flower farms, and freelancing alongside some of the industry's top florists — I'm always picking up a little more of my craft along the way. More than anything, I want planning your florals to feel easy and exciting, so I aim to be communicative, transparent, and fully present every step of the way, getting to know my couples so each design can feel like a true reflection of who they are.

When I'm not designing or in the garden, you can find me recording music with my band Shady Cove, on a road trip in the old Jeep, or out in nature with my partner and our dog, Hagen — art and nature seem to find a way to overlap endlessly in my life!

I'm based in the small town of Luck, Wisconsin, and always happy to travel locally, regionally, and beyond for the right celebration. I can't wait to meet you!

Behind Faded Era

Flowers are fleeting by nature, and that's exactly what makes them so powerful. They mark a moment in time that will never come again — and in that brief window, they become part of the memory itself. Faded Era is my way of honoring that: creating florals meant to be remembered.

That same feeling shows up everywhere I look for inspiration — in old mixtapes and vintage magazines, in film and timeless music, in nature’s wide-open fields and quiet river cliffs. All of it carries that same well-loved quality: beautiful because it's lived-in, meaningful because it doesn't last forever. It all leaves a lasting impression and finds its way into my designs.

Ethos

Everyone is Welcome

Faded Era Floral is a queer-owned business, and I proudly support LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and all marginalized folx, with respect for every race, ethnicity, sexuality, and gender identity — regardless of background or citizenship status. I'm committed to creating a safe space where everyone feels welcome and valued. Flowers are for all people.

Sourced with Care

A large majority of my flowers come from small, local farms — including my own — because I believe in supporting the people actually growing what I design with. Sourcing this way means fresher blooms, a smaller footprint, and real relationships with the farmers I work alongside, season after season.

I design with water-based, reusable, and compostable mechanics whenever I can. Flowers deserve clean water and thoughtful handling, and I believe our industry has a responsibility to move toward more sustainable practices. Working this way pushes me to get creative — building designs that are just as beautiful, without cutting corners on sustainability.
